A Mitsubishi version of the Nissan Leaf EV will reach North America in summer 2026. Mitsubishi wants to strengthen its collaboration with Nissan on electrified vehicles. Another EV developed by Foxconn will debut in Australia in the second half of 2026.

Mitsubishi just announced it will sell its own version of the Nissan Leaf in North America in the summer of 2026. The vehicle will be based on the next-generation Nissan Leaf, Mitsu said, and the shadowy photo above suggests it will be a compact crossover. It’s the exact same photo used a year ago in another release.
