Farabee and Frost are set to make their Flames debuts on Saturday night. Coach John Tortorella said he plans to have a longer conversation with the two during the Four Nations break.

The Flyers freed up a bit of cap space with the clear out of Farabee's contract, and they might be setting up for more.

The Flyers hoped both Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost would become major pieces to their future. After all, Farabee had 20 goals in his second career season in a shortened campaign. Frost posted back-to-back 40+ point seasons before this year. These are players who can produce at a high level.
