Peppa Pig' is following 'Sesame Street' to Netflix, and the streaming giant also announced new video games tied to each kids property.

Netflix said the new season of "Sesame Street" will feature new segments and the return of fan-favorite segments like Elmo's World and Cookie Monster's Foodie Truck. The new episodes are expected to center on an 11-minute story, which allows for more character-driven development, "Sesame Street" parent Sesame Workshop said.

An HBO Max subscription is required to watch Sesame Street on the platform. Some social media users hoped that Netflix would allow viewers to tune into old and new episodes without requiring a subscription.
