Former Kansas City #Chiefs DE Jared Allen was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Thursday ahead of Super Bowl LIX.

It took way too long for Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen to get the call for the Hall of Fame, but it became official on Thursday at NFL Honors when he was one of four players announced for the 2025 Hall of Fame class.

Jared Allen, whose NFL path started with the Kansas City Chiefs, has been elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. A pass rushing specialist, Allen went on to play six seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and finish his career with the Chicago Bears and Carolina Panthers. He racked up 136 career sacks, leading the NFL twice in that department.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame’s latest modern era class was announced live at the NFL Honors ceremony Thursday in New Orleans. The Hall’s Class of 2025 is set to be enshrined in Canton, Ohio, this August and the four inductees were announced at the Saenger Theatre.

With the Pro Football Hall of Fame shutting out Cowboys legend Darren Woodson once again, it’s time to look ahead to the Class of 2026. And several Cowboys could well be in the mix for legitimate gold jacket talk next year.
