Alice, the crane that escaped from Cougar Mountain Zoo, was safely retrieved from a yard near Lake Sammamish on Friday.

An endangered East African crowned crane has been gone for days, the zoo said in a May 21 Facebook post. She was last spotted at Lake Sammamish State Park.
