Nine international students at New Mexico State University (NMSU) have had their visas revoked. The visa revocations are reportedly related to legal infractions or outdated records, not protests or social media posts.

Courtney Gilmartin, a UCF spokesperson, confirmed the revocations, saying the 15 students in the United States on F-1 student visas have had their visas revoked since March 25 based on records from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Some international students at Washington universities whose legal status to remain in the country was revoked by the Trump administration began seeing their statuses reinstated Thursday. That includes at least eight students from the University of Washington and one from Seattle University, spokespeople for the schools said.
