The RSX Prototype is making its global debut this week at two Monterey Car Week events: The Quail Motorsports Gathering and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Acura says it will assemble the RSX at Honda’s EV Hub in Ohio, on same production line as Acura Integra, starting in the second half of 2026.

Honda and Acura have a pattern of showing multiple stages of concepts, those that we would more traditionally think of as design concepts and what they like to call prototypes. The concepts are a bit more out there and the public prototypes are for all intents and purposes the production models,

T his is Honda's best shot. To all of those that have criticized the automotive giant for being slow to launch its own EV, the Acura RSX is your answer. Honda insists it has been patient and calculated in its timing, and that the first home-grown, long-range EV from its luxury arm will catapult it to the forefront of the EV revolution.
