GRAND BLANC, MI -- Grant Fisher of Grand Blanc added another prestigious title to his name with a record-setting race performance. Fisher, 27, placed first in the men’s 3,000-meter run at the 2025 Millrose Games Saturday, Feb. 8, setting a new world record in the process, according to USA Track and Field.

When Cole Hocker—the reigning Olympic gold medalist in the 1500 meters—went around Grant Fisher with 600 meters remaining in the 3,000 meters at the Millrose Games, it was hard to see how Fisher could retake the lead.

"It's absolutely insane," Nuguse told Lewis Johnson on NBC Sports. "I haven't had a world record yet in my career, and I've always really wanted one just because I felt like, especially in the mile, I was good enough for it.
