The Justice Department on Friday asked a federal court to release grand jury transcripts connected to former financier Jeffrey Epstein, responding to a growing political outcry over the agency’s unfulfilled promise to release more details on the matter.

The lawsuit comes after The Wall Street Journal reported on a 50th birthday greeting to Jeffrey Epstein that Trump allegedly sent in 2003 that included a sexually suggestive drawing and a reference to secrets they shared.

A grand jury in Missouri indicted St. Peter’s Prep basketball star Keiner Asprilla on rape, sodomy and kidnapping charges that stem from his official visit to the University of Missouri last September.

The indictments come after a video surfaced online and went viral, showing the teachers allegedly hitting a 10-year-old autistic boy in February.

A Massachusetts woman pleaded guilty to leaking grand jury information, facing potential years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Her court dates are pending.
