Germany defender Sarai Linder has been ruled out of her team’s Women’s European Championship semifinal against Spain.

Germany defender Sarai Linder will miss the women's Euro 2025 semi-finals against world champion Spain on Wednesday due to injury. Linder had to be subbed off in the quarter-final match against France and the German Football Federation (DFB) said in a statement on Sunday evening that she suffered a capsule and ligament injury to her left ankle.

Germany overcame France on penalties and reached the Euro semifinals despite playing almost the entire match with 10 players.
