EA confirmed weak results for its latest quarterly earnings, mainly attributed to a rough start for "Dragon Age: The Veilguard" and "EA Sports FC 25."

The Veilguard had a strong opening and plenty of hype around its launch, but failed to stick the landing. As EA reported last month, despite good reviews, The Veilguard reached 1.5 million players across all platforms,

“In order to break out beyond the core audience, games need to directly connect to the evolving demands of players who increasingly seek shared-world features and deeper engagement alongside high-quality narratives in this beloved category,” Wilson said in an investor call.
