British meal delivery company Deliveroo said on Friday it received a proposal from U.S. peer DoorDash on April 5 to buy all of its shares for 2.7 billion pounds ($3.60 billion).

Deliveroo said that “it would be minded to recommend such an offer” to its shareholders, assuming an offer is made on those terms.

DoorDash Inc. has offered to buy UK-based Deliveroo Plc for $3.6 billion, marking a renewed attempt by the US company to expand into more overseas markets by buying smaller food delivery providers.
