Chris Godwin Jr. re-signed with the Bucs during free agency in March but his ankel that had him miss most of 2024 is still not ready for ther field.

The Bucs already will start camp without left tackle Tristan Wirfs, who underwent knee surgery July 8. Wirfs is expected to miss the preseason and at least two regular-season games after the arthroscopic procedure. He is a candidate to begin the regular season on the “physically unable to perform (PUP)” list.
