Philadelphia Phillies right fielder Nick Castellanos is drawing interest from the Kansas City Royals, who "might consider" trading for him at the deadline.

Manager Rob Thomson later provided an update, revealing that Castellanos is participating in pre-game running drills as a final test before resuming game action. Through 102 games this season, Castellanos has remained a steady contributor in the everyday lineup, hitting .270 with a .745 OPS, 13 homers and 56 RBIs.
