The Indiana Fever secured a ticket to the WNBA Commissioner's Cup final after going 4-1 against their Eastern Conference opponents. They edged out the New York Liberty, who also finished with a 4-1 record but lost the tiebreaker due to their defeat against Indiana in Cup play.

Despite dominating the fan vote as the WNBA's leading all-star vote-getter by a record-setting margin, Fever star Caitlin Clark ranked as the ninth-best guard by players. Fellow players rated Clark as the second-best guard on her own team behind Kelsey Mitchell.
