Illinois coach Brad Underwood didn't have his team shake Wisconsin's hands following their game Tuesday due to an illness outbreak in the Illini locker room.

Wisconsin basketball (21-5, 11-4 Big Ten) cruised to a commanding 95-74 victory over the Illinois Fighting Illini (17-10, 9-8 Big Ten) on Tuesday night. The team did so courtesy of another valiant scoring effort by star wing John Tonje.

It was clear something was off when Illinois coach approached Wisconsin's Greg Gard after the Badgers' 95-74 win over the Illini on Tuesday at the Kohl Center in Madison. After a brief exchange, Gard stiffened slightly and could clearly be seen to mouth one word "Why?"

While the Fighting Illini were battling both illness and injury entering the contest, the result was a polar opposite to Wisconsin's loss in Champaign earlier this season. The Badgers were outrebounded 40-29 during that 86-80 defeat. On Tuesday, they flipped the script, grabbing 39 rebounds to Illinois' 30.

With Illini trying to patch together a team, the Badgers' bigs feasted. Steven Crowl scored 20 points tonight while Winter added another seven. Wisconsin out-rebounded the Illini 39-30, and grabbed 13 offensive rebounds, a huge difference from their first game in Champaign.
