In the span of about two hours on Sunday, J.J. Spaun looked like a golfer in complete freefall. It looked like the magic touch from his first three rounds at Oakmont Country Club had completely abandoned him.

The US Open at Oakmont Country Club is back after a lengthy rain delay, with Sam Burns clinging to the lead. Burns entered the day with a one-shot advantage over fellow American JJ Spaun and the Australian Scott.

"I felt like I had a chance, a really good chance to win the U.S. Open at the start of the day. It just unravelled very fast," Spaun said, as quoted by ESPN . "But the break was actually the key for me to winning this tournament."
