P resident Donald Trump is facing mounting backlash from his MAGA base over his administration's handling of the Epstein files and its deepening involvement in the Iran-Israel conflict -- and the splintering is especially evident among many of the podcasters and comedians who helped propel his return to power last year.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries appeared to signal support for the release of the government’s files on Epstein during a press conference Monday. “The American people deserve to know the truth,” he said, accoring to The Hill. “What, if anything, is the Trump administration and the Department of Justice hiding?”

President Trump said that Attorney General Pam Bondi has handled convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s case ‘very well’ despite the backlash from Trump’s MAGA base.

The president asked his supporters to “let Pam Bondi do her job” as she faces scrutiny over handling the release of documents related to the disgraced financier.

"I've known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy," Trump said. "He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it - Jeffrey enjoys his social life."
