Mayor Eric Adams said Tuesday he wants to make New York City more affordable for families by expanding a free after-school program — an issue that’s grown as a hot topic in the mayoral

Adams said he plans to expand after-school to 20,000 students in kindergarten through fifth grade over the next three years.

After-School for All” will strengthen and scale after-school programs with the goal of achieving universal access for all students.
