LAS VEGAS — A stellar first-half defensive effort and another impressive double-double performance from Charles Bassey propelled the Boston Celtics to a 94-81 win over the New York Knicks in an NBA 2K26 Summer League battle at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas on Sunday.

Bassey has suddenly left the Celtics' Summer League team and won't be back for any more games. Apparently, his contract was for only three games.
