Capt. Nick was awesome! We got to see a whale and too many dolphin 🐬 to count! I would rather do this personalized excursion than a bigger boat with too many people. Highly recommended!Full review by Cristian Vazquez

Does the timing have any impact on the chances of seeing the whales and dolphins? Not sure if I should go in the morning or do the sunset cruise. I am most likely going to visit in early Jan 2020.

Many factors and conditions contribute to the ever changing waters of Southern California. We have a very high success rate and we strive to see whales and dolphins every trip for our clients.
I’ve been whale watching before up at Monterey and my daughter got quite sea sick. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions to combat the sickness?

Monterey tends to have rougher sea conditions than we do here in Southern California. Contrary to popular thought, it’s more likely to get sea sick on the larger boats because they do not respond quickly - they roll and pitch slowly which causes motion sickness. Our boats respond quickly and we always keep them moving which isn’t crucial. I run over 1000 trips a year and I can count on one hand the number of people who get sick with us.
