How busy is the Thomas Exhibit on the weekends? Is it packed, should we consider a weekday? We have a 3 year old who does better if it isn't too crowded. We live 2 hours away and are planning a day trip to Greenville, but it would be great to not have to burn a vacation day! TIA

The museum is not that large,but I guess you need an hour or so. Of course the time you spend will depend on the detail you choose for yourself. The displays change from time to time so you may want to spend more or less time and that up to you. The building is 2 stories and I think well laid out so you move along. It's a lovely museum.
