We did it in the winter and it took a little over an hour round trip plus the time we spent at the top enjoying the scenery. Icy trail, steps packed with snow/ice, etc. we were using crampons (ice cleats) to make the trip safely. It is a well maintained trail with steps to make it easy in the most difficult areas. Well worth the effort.
