We will be spending the day in St George and would like to do some hiking but will not be renting a car. Is there public transportation to Red Cliffs trailheads? How far would it be for a taxi? Are there other places to go hiking that we could try out without a car? thanks

Go to Pioneer Park. Either taxi or bus. It is 2 miles from downtown St. George.

Hi. Well that fluctuates. It can be more than waist deep and fast after the snow melt or a storm. I would say now its shallow and slow but it's also too hot this time of the year to be there. The dirt road into it can be problematic if not maintained seasonally. Higher clearance vehicle is recommended and it has some sand in parts.
