Beautiful area ; good walks and cycle rides around village and to Sneek via small ferry; good base for visiting other towns and villages in Friesland
During our visit in the last days of May a lot of the cafes, restaurants and shops were closed on Monday and Tuesday. However cafe Portunus (by the ferry) was open everyday and was excellent value....
