I visited in November and did not have advance reservations. The place was almost empty, except for some kids on a school trip. I don't think I'd worry about getting tickets in advance, and if there is a delay, there are a lot of other attractions right near there to look at while you wait on your start time. I agree with most of the responders here - give yourself one to two hours, and I don't think you'll miss much if you keep to the shorter end of that. Krakow is a wonderful city - enjoy!

Hey. It's not in the cloth hall but in one of the doors on the outside of the building. You will need to book your slot online first and pick your tickets up on one side, then enter on the other (the entry is on the Cathedral side). From memory, there was a lift to go down into the underground area.
