216 ft Observatory. Built in 1982, opened in 1983 just celebrated its 35th anniversary on June 3rd. A beautiful scenic tour of the Ouachita Mountains high above the city of Hot Springs.

Interesting find, if you're cool with heights and like good views. There's a gift shop at the base of the tower where you can buy some Hot Springs stuff, then take the stairs or elevator to the top.…Full review by mafa02

Yes, there is an elevator to take to the top and you do drive to get to the visitor center to get to the elevator.
