It's easy to get there by the ferry, you can catch it near the town hall and then it's about a 10 minute walk from the ferry stop to the folk museum. If you have a full day you can then walk …
It's easy to get there by the ferry, you can catch it near the town hall and then it's about a 10 minute walk from the ferry stop to the folk museum. If you have a full day you can then walk from the folk museum to the viking ship museum and the Fram or Kon-Tiki museums where there is another ferry stop to return to the city center. The ferry information is online.

Hi The hours are 10am to 6pm. Bus 30 goes there, but my preference is for the ferry. If you google Norwegian Museum of Cultural History, there is a section for getting direction which allows you to enter your start point and the museum to get a detailed directions. Alternatively, I am sure reception at the hotel will be able to guide you.
