Hi! I read in one of the reviews that u have to get into the water to board the boat So we have to wear shorts or swimming attire? How high does the water level go? Knee high? Will u get wet?

You are in very shallow water getting on/off boat - should wear shorts. You should expect to get wet during the boat ride.

On the power boat tours there is no access to the beach. We did see kayak groups landing on the beach inside the cave but i don’t think the view of the cave or the photo opportunities …
On the power boat tours there is no access to the beach. We did see kayak groups landing on the beach inside the cave but i don’t think the view of the cave or the photo opportunities are significantly better from the beach. While it is theoretically possible to swim to the cave keep in mind that the water along the Algarve coast is quite chilly and most people do not choose to stay in the water long enough to make it to the cave.
