Albertina is absolutely amazing. You just can’t miss this place. The paintings are beautiful and inspiring. Id recommend getting a tour guide because they have a lot to say about the art you’ll see. …Full review by susanneeeecz

Hi- My mom and I will be visiting Vienna in mid-March, and the two possible times we have for visiting the Albertina are Friday evening (around 6:30 pm) or Monday morning (around 10:30 am). In either case we hope to spend about two hours in order to see the permanent collection, the special exhibition of the Liechtenstein collections, and the state rooms. Does anyone have an idea about which of the two times would be better in terms of smaller crowds? Or do you think that in March it shouldn't be too crowded at either time? Many thanks!

Do it in the morning. That way you do not need to rush. BTW be aware when you visit the museums across the park going through the big gate there is the kinds palace and other buildings worth seem... just cross the main street where the hop on hop off red line connects with the blue. On another note the hop on is terrible and expensive.

Hi, in Albertina is used to give 1 EURO per person to leave both your bags and coats in the cloakroom. If you are lucky which means you have only a small bag and a coat that would survive to be placed in the box - and if there are vacant boxex too - then place your things into one of the many boxes using either one or two EURO coins. Good luck.
