The tour guides were great and we learned a lot about the aircraft and history of the war. Amazing that the aircraft are fully restored and can fly. Can't wait to go back in Aug of 2026 and see them…Full review by Jeff G

Entering the aircraft is generally not permitted for many reasons. Most of these aircraft still fly and have to be maintained to flight standards. You can actually see many of them fly during the annual Pikes Peak Regional Airshow. During our visit, however, the docents were great about allowing views inside some of the aircraft, particularly for hobbyist modelers who wanted to see the interiors. We highly recommend this museum.
Q:
How much time would you recommend spending at the museum?
A:
Probably 1-2 hours. There’s lots to read and see. You can do it in an hour but we felt like 2 would be more leisurely and less rushed.
Q:
How much does it cost?
A:
We paid $10 for entrance that includes the docent tour. With that price, you’d see a lot, so we ended up donating more money (optional)...
Q:
How much does it cost?
A:
It is nice to leave a few bucks of donation on top of the cheap ticket price.
Q:
Can well-behaved dogs on-leash visit the museum?
A:
Only service animals
