Gun Plain Charter Township is a charter township of Allegan County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the township population was 6,148. The city of Plainwell lies within the township's survey area, but is administratively autonomous. Kalamazoo is about 12 miles south, and Grand Rapids is about 35 miles north.
