The Cotton Tree was destroyed in a storm in May 2023. A stump remains, but the tree is gone. Hopefully they plant a new one.Full review by Navigator03611101185

The cotton tree is a very old tree with great historic significance in Freetown. It is huge so not easily missed but traffic is constantly navigating around it. Worth a visit.Full review by NicolaLevett
