stayed at kibuye and went out for a boat ride to Napolean island, where i hiked to the summit for a 360deg view of the lake. the hike takes 30-45 min round trip. it is steep, but not overly difficult…Full review by mrc282

Take the public bus from Kigali. Buses are excellent. Several different companies. I used Capital express I think. About 3 dollars for a ticket. 3 hour ride from Kigali to Kibuye. …

Take the public bus from Kigali. Buses are excellent. Several different companies. I used Capital express I think. About 3 dollars for a ticket. 3 hour ride from Kigali to Kibuye. Roads are safe, drivers are safe. Timetables are adhered to. Very different to the Kenyan bus system that I use. Recommended.
