Visiting the area and teens wanted a beach. The actual beaches aren’t gulf-like, but we found this online and we’re glad we did! Water was crystal clear (chilly as it’s Feb), and it wasn’t too crowde…Full review by edawg

Fresh water , clean beach, clean restroom, some of picnic table. Good place for family spend the day. Specially winter we could to be close to manatee in swimming area.Full review by Villalobos168

We stayed at the Retreat at Crystal Manatee . It was very nice and close to restaurants and many attractions. The owner Joel is very nice and the rates are very reasonable .
