Is this worth a stop (on our drive from Colorado Springs, CO to Great Sands Dunes National Park) if we don't plan on climbing? My kids are little (ages 1, 3, 5, and 7) but well traveled so I don't plan on doing any climbing. If there are still rooms from ground level and things they can see without climbing, I wouldn't mind stopping. Thanks.

Keep the kids in sight at all times as it really isn't a place for them to go wandering because it is still under construction... I think they would enjoy looking at the outside properties of the building. I wouldn't go too far out of my way to see it. However... My nephew, age 6, says it is his favorite place. It seems to call to his imagination... It is on a beautiful drive. Make sure your vehicle is fueled as this is in a remote location.
