Worth the walk - 1.7 km trail, 258 stairs down & 258 stairs back up, legs were sore for a couple days after but worth the views.Full review by GrandTour14737006394

The trail is free while the ferry is 7 CAD (if I remember correctly), which you only pay in cash to the crew on the way to long island, while on the way back is free. Transit time is only a few minutes, but if you go on a busy day you might have to queue up a little before you board
