Loved visiting these ruins visiting the beach afterward. Easy to get there on the train. Just a 10 minute walk from train station. Would recommend a visit.Full review by Christine K

I use a mobility scooter but can get out to walk short distances, including relatively uneven surfaces and short flights of steps. Would I be able to see much of Ostia Antica?

Yes, almost all the park is accessible on flat paths. It’s a fabulous place!
Train from Roma Termini can you take a train from Rome’s main station? What stop do you get off at?

I have a layover at Fiumicino Airport for approximately 7 hours and wanted to visit Parco Archeologico di Ostia Antica. I will take a taxi there and want to know is it easy to get a taxi back to the airport again? Is there a taxi rank near Parco Archeologico di Ostia Antica to return to the airport? Thanks

I seem to remember seeing some taxis at the train station but in order to get to Ostia Antica site from the station you have to walk up and over a bridge and then It's a 5 min walk down to the entrance which would be a better place to call for a taxi.I don't recall seeing any taxis there. Perhaps ask for a return when you get the taxi out to Ostia. There is also a good cafeteria inside the site should you need to eat and drink.
