Hi! I'm trying to plan a hike from where we are staying in Imerovigli to Oia and then on to Amoudi Bay for lunch along the water. My question: Are the restaurants in Amoudi Bay used to sweaty hikers coming in for lunch? Some of the places look very nice and I am worried about making a reservation and then feeling out of place in casual hiking clothes. We also thought maybe we could go for a swim to cool off before lunch. Question: Does anyone know of places to change clothes? For example if we wanted to change into and out of bathing suits in between the hike>swim>lunch? Thanks in advance!

Hi Lauren M.... We walked Oia, then the steps to Ammoudi Bay then to cool off, we swam at a nice location where the little island is that is home to Saint Nicholas Holy Chapel. My wife and I are in our 50's and entered and exited the water no problems. Once you walk the steps down to the bay, turn left and follow the path. After our swim, we walked back to the bay and enjoyed lunch at Sunset in Ammoudi in our swimwear. My wife did freshen up in the lavatories....no problems. Very casual..... and so so nice on the eye...enjoy
