The castle is small inside and I cant see why you would not be allowed in. If not there is a man by the entrance gate of the castle and I seem to remember seeing a bowl of water there for dogs. Its would be a great place to take a dog for a walk.

No booking is necessary. You just show up and wait your turn. It's only a five minute ride to the castle. I forget what we paid, but it was very little - a few Euros. It's a castle set on a high hill in a river. You take a boat to get there and then climb and climb. We waited a short bit for the boatsman to get back from lunch, and it was worth it.
