A definate must see when in the Algarve. The rock formations are numerous and gorgeous. Several tours take you on the water, you can also view the rocks from the boardwalk from above.Full review by Lobstermountain

We didn’t go as far as I would have liked due to our daughter balking but I can’t wait to walk it again. Beautiful scenery at every turn.Full review by tnmomof6

The boardwalk at Algar Seco is free and there are clifftop walks beyond the Boneca bar. The walk down the hill into Carvoeiro has lovely sea views all the way - but it is a steep walk back! While in Carvoeiro, it is worth taking a boat trip from the beach to see the caves. Parking is free.
I will be in this area in May and am excited to check this out. I was just wondering if there are any other must see attractions or hidden treasures near by (within 15 minutes) to see while in the are. Any help would be appreciated :)

Lunch in the square in Ferragudo is a must. Take the trouble to walk up the hill towards the church via the narrow cobbled streets. Also, walk along the harbour side past the nets and grilling fish - but don't stop there. Go through the narrow gap behind the lifeboat station and suddenly you will be on Scrublands beach - that is the 'locals' beach. A bit further afield is Alvor and the board walk around the Alvor estuary. Finish up with coffee on the harbourside. Fab.
